Sam
Gibbons :
I cant bare slavvering on about myself so heres the most I'm going
to say. Its shortly coming up 5 years since I started production
mainly thanks to Graham Lord of The Audiowhores who I met at the
wonderful now finished Out In The Sticks night in my local town
of Todmorden. I love good music of all kinds and production is my
(expensive!) hobby. I pretty much do every part of the production
stage myself and pride myself on doing the best possible pieces
of music using the most authentic sounds possible. I'm under no
illusions that the real stars of most of my music (some are me playing!)
are these dudes below. God bless um!!
Barney
Williams :
I met Barney around 3 years ago now and boy am I glad! An amazing
keyboard player of the finest calibre and has a passion for all
kinds of good music, very similar tastes to myself. A thoroughly
top fella allround, has featured on many other House records for
Audiowhores and Groove Assassin amongst others.
Had top ten hits with The Milltown Brothers as a youngster now a
proud parent and playing in two or three bands localy as well as
doing music for TV, hes a busy man.
Nathan
Sudders :
A friend and band mate of Barney's, Nathan's one of the best bass
players I've heard and a fellow fun loving freak. Owning a collection
of wicked bass guitars Nathan can really turn it out!
Nathan features on my remixes of Never Forget, P-funkaters - Final
Fling, the classic mix of Too Late and quite a few other tracks
still under production!
Reuben
Holt ; Originaly
from New Zealand Reuben is a multi instrumentalist one mand band!
Always sporting his trusty beany hat even with headphones on he
can turn it out no problem. Reuben has fantastic musical knowledge,
great timing and skill for crafting hooky grooves. You hum it
he can play it, now thats what am talking about..
The
Hive : First
time I met Hive he was playing in the Jazz Quartet with Barney on
keyboards. He looked very scary with blank almost evil stare going
on. Turns out hes as friendly as can be but when hes playing he
gets this crazed look on his face. Bloody great sax player and has
belted out some awsome stuff for BackRoomSounds over the last couple
of years.
Richard
Young : Bob
Hoskins look alike Richard is one serious rhythm machine. With timing
to put a MPC to shame he effortlessly plays drums or tuned percussion
like hes having a nap. Also named the laziest man in percussion
he can take some motivating but trust me its worth it! I'm still
trying to arrange a session with him on vibraphone... watch this
space (not litrally)
